'Running Man' Monday Couple Reunites; 'Running Man' Seventh Member To Be Introduced
Fans of "Running Man", one of the most-followed series today, were saddened with the episode where Gary was seen leaving the show. The "Monday Couple" has become a big question now that Gary can no longer stay with Song Ji Hyo.
In an earlier report released by News Every Day, an emotional Song Ji Hyo faced the cameras on Gary's last episode before he formally left the show. Being dubbed as the "Monday Couple", fans expect that the two will stay longer without any one of them having to do the exit.
Just recently, though, a happy encounter happened for the "Monday Couple". The "Running Man" series had to shoot an episode which will push them to meet with Gary. This allowed Song Ji Hyo and Gary to have a happy reunion.
According to All Kpop, SBS Network released photos of "Running Man's" Gary and Song Ji Hyo's reunion on their social media account. Song was seen ecstatically happy to be reunited with Gary. In the photos, she rushed to give him a back hug while Gary was also surprised with Song's presence in his studio.
Since there's still no news about SBS Network considering a seventh member for "Running Man" after Gary's exit, fans have been constantly pushing the idea. If the network heeds to the fans' call, they might do a bid on the next seventh member.
Mobi Picker specifically pointed three stars which can most likely replace Gary on "Running Man". One of the names included is of Song Joong Ki. "Descendant of the Sun's" Big Boss was once part of the "Running Man" series. He participated in the series for about a year but eventually left to redirect the path of his career.
Also on the list is Jong Yong Hwa. He became a guest starter of the show and it's not impossible for the producers to eye him to fill the seventh member slot. Park Ji Sung was also mentioned for being so vocal about how he loves to become a part of the show. For now, fans will have to wait whether makers of the show will consider realigning the cast.
