If there will be an election on which character is the scariest during the classic film production, "The Witch"  will be included as one.  This character had the longest love-hate relationship with the avid horror audience.  The Witch's main responsibility for one is to scare the audience.  One of the few that matched the terror is the German silent film entitled, Nosferatu, by F.W. Mumau.  This is one of the foundations of a rebirth of a film about Witch, directed by Robert Eggers.

In an interview with the Filmmaker Toolkit podcast, Director Eggers expressed her early workings on the film, "The Witch" reboot of Nosferatu as for this upcoming huge project. He shared his passion on doing such artistic genre and how he loved the period setting.  He has a knack for slow pacing, restraint, and insanely creepy visuals -- all of which are vital for a recreation of this classic German expressionist horror movie. This young, aggressive director has excellent flairs for restraint, mind blowing creepy attack - which are the characters needed for a slow pacing, restraint, and insanely creepy visuals -- all of which are vital for the upcoming film.

Nosferatu is a remake of classic silent horror film, produced in the early years - 1922.  His deep love for the original film compelled him to recreate a milestone movie such as Nosferatu. Eggers also shared his plans on doing the material in a different attack, without impeding the original creations of Max Schreck and F.W. Murnau.

It was not Eggers who did the old film remake.  Back in 1979, an iconic film director Werner Herzog produced such classic horror story, coined as "Nosferatu the Vampyre", starring Klaus Kinski as the lead star.  The film was a big hit but had also been flooded with critics.  But, as far as the Modern Director Eggers hands, this film will surely be a hit, yet, its theater release is still in the mode of suspense.
