'Stranger Things' Season 2 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Production Back With New Cast Members
People surely can't wait for Netflix to drop the new season of "Stranger Things" starring Winona Ryder and Millie Bobby Brown after the show got them hooked. The latest news now about the hit show is that it will introduce two new characters.
Two new actors will join the "Stranger Things" cast as they dwell on the eerie and thrills of the series. Australian actor Dacre Montgomery (new Power Rangers movie) and Sadie Sink (American Oddysey) were announced as the latest additions.
The two, however, still does not have a specific role. Although, it is rumored that Montgomery will play the older brother of Max, which is also rumored to be played by Sink.
There is still no further details about the character of Max in "Stranger Things" but she was described as 12-14 years old kid whose behavior is more fit with boys than girls in the 80's era. Her character is not even confirmed to be part of the series but fans are speculating that the first episode called "Madmax" is about her.
But the new cast additions would not only be limited to them. Latest additions including Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, and Linnea Berthelesen were also said to be part of the new season.
Have they started filming?
There are still no words from the production team if the shooting for "Stranger Things" season 2 has already started but a user from Reddit has claimed she saw the production shooting near where she lives in Atlanta. The pictures were not really a huge giveaway though.
The official Twitter account of the show gave its fans a glimpse of the Season 2 start. It shows an upside down monochrome photo of the cast reading their script, with an upside down caption saying they are back in production.

Stranger Things season 2 has yet to release a specific release date but it is assumed it will debut in June or July 2017.
