As it was already reported by News Every Day, things are getting serious in “Lucifer” Season 2. If the first season was concentrated only on crime investigation, now all the horrors, both physical and psychological are falling on the viewers as they see their favorite characters fall and wriggle under the painful foot of Destiny, or the writers, if you want to be more literal.

All the cosmic forces gather together against Lucifer (Tom Ellis) to bring him down and drag him under the crust of our old Planet Earth, where he belongs, deep within the fiery kingdom of lava and magma, twisting deep within the innards of our common home. The home of angels, demons and men.

Fab Newz shares speculations on the further developments of the story. According to their article, Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) will beg Lucifer to open up a portal to the neither and go back on the throne of hell, where he belongs. Even if he wanted to go back, this will be impossible, as he is busy. Together with Ella (Aimee Garcia) to find the blade of Azrael, which has caused all the mayhem in the city through the last few day.
Before that, he is unable to go back.

Still, one of the biggest problems in the series does not come from cosmic, nor inter dimensional forces, it comes from human beings themselves, reports Mobi Picker. Linda Martin (Rachael Harris) is the one delivering the toughest blows in these episodes.

Lucifer admitted his real identity to her, yet not believing and who can blame her, she is a psychiatrist, he shows her his real face. This not only shocked her but changed the way she perceive things in the world. The cosmic forces are no longer something abstract or made up, she has to deal with them there, in her everyday life. That truly scared her and pushed her into solace and denial. After all, who would not prefer to close their eyes and pretend the sight is not real, then meet the embodiment of all evil, placed before their eyes.

“Lucifer” Season 2 Episode 8 will air on 14 November on FOX.
