'NCIS' Season 14 Spoilers, News & Updates: Cancellation Rumors Still Loom; Mark Harmon To Leave For 'Better' Opportunities?
A lot of rumors have been lurking around one of CBS' most followed series, the "NCIS". Reports say that the cancellation rumors started when Michael Weatherly left the show.
According to Australia Network News, the show's rating started to drop when Weatherly (who portrayed special agent Tony Dinozzo Jr.) was no longer seen in any of "NCIS" Season 14 episodes. CBS' American police drama series 14th instalment started last September. The report says that it recorded high viewership during the first few episodes, however, weeks after the premier, the ratings severely dropped.
After leaving "NCIS", Weatherly immediately proceeded to the productions for "Bull" where he portrays a central character. Several reports say that "Bull" is not making any hike in its numbers, that's why there's also a possibility that he will re-appear on one of "NCIS" Season 14 upcoming episodes.
On another note, another cast is rumored to leave the show. Mark Harmon is said to be leaving "NCIS" amid its run on season 14. Mark recently encountered a small hump which his dog got involved in with one of the crew. A report from TMZ says that Mark's dog named as Dave bit one of the crew's hand. This led Mark to send the crew to the hospital to have his hand stitched. The crew got 16 stitches but was able to recover fast after the incident.
Before all these happened, Mark Harmon got one of the greatest recognitions artists from United States' want to achieve. That is, to be titled as America's most favorite TV Personality, Mstars News reports. Harmon dethroned Ellen DeGeneres who got it for for three straight years. Despite being dethroned, Ellen was all good about the decision and even dedicated an episode for Mark in her show.
