'One Piece' Anime Series; News and Updates - No More Chapters to Cover, Franchise for Cancellation?
Numerous speculations have been rising about the rumored franchise cancellation of the One Piece animated series. Rumors started when One Piece covers its latest episode; One Piece Episode 763 entitled "The Truth Behind the Disappearance! Sanji Gets a Startling Invitation!" covers the chapter 813 of the manga series and the most recent chapter is chapter 845.
These speculations state that since the anime series is losing chapters to cover a possibility of the franchise cancellation will happen. But, the production team hasn't confirmed yet if the rumors are true. Could it be a possibility of a hiatus? Since the animated series is catching up on source materials so fast it could be a possibility of putting the show on hold or a permanent stop. Yet, if the show proceeds with a temporary stop, a possible filler episode will be created.

Multiple headlines stating anime creators confirmed cancellation are rising on the internet. But, no confirmation from the production team. With the wide fanbase of the animated series, the possibility of closing the show is 50/50.
Also, speculations about the Straw Hat pirate Captain Monkey D. Luffy is close to finding the treasures of One Piece and becoming the new Pirate King. Are we closing on to the animated series conclusion?
With the popularity of the Anime Series One Piece, gaining an 8.8 rating from IMDb and 8.58 rating from My Anime List, the manga is labeled as the best - selling manga series in history. If cancellation is then true, fans deserve an announcement from Eiichiro Oda or Toei Animation. For now, fans can still enjoy One Piece and the upcoming episode.
