‘How to Get Away With Murder’ Rumors, Sneak Peek, New Characters, Reunions
How to Get Away With Murder is not just a show about disposing corpses and unexpected twists and turns. It's also a show filled with good old-fashioned betrayals. The show's third season revolves around shaky friendships and friends turning on each other.
On a theory based on flash-forwards, it was rumored that another prominent character would be gone from the show. The rumor started recently along with Annalise (Viola Davis) facing major implications when her surrogate son, Wes (Alfred Enoch) throws her under the bus to save himself from different murder charges.
In an exclusive sneak peak released recently, fans can see Annalise process the notion that one of her own has betrayed her. Of course, this could just be a red herring in the trailer, knowing how good How To Get Away With Murder is when it comes to misleading their audience.
This opens to more speculations whether there is something more going on with Wes and Annalise. After all, she also enlisted her students to shoot her as part of a cover-up before. It wouldn't come as much of a surprise if she put Wes up to falsely snitching her.
Fans are also excited to finally find out which character will wind up Under The Sheet - make that a hashtag. There is also news about Frank's intense reunion.
At the end of last week's episode, Frank has returned to town, showing up in Laurel's (Karla Souza) apartment. He eavesdropped as Laurel told Wes that she loved him.
Charlie Weber tells EW, "It's pretty messy. He's there to tell Laurel some things about how he feels about her."
"He's going to have to deal with the fact that she's with someone else and those lingering feelings that people have for each other. We'll see how she reacts to what he says." he added.
Before going to Laurel's apartment, Bonnie rebuffed Frank, making him feel unwelcomed, alone and hopeless.
"He feels completely alone," Weber says. "When Bonnie threw him out, he was devastated by that. Now he's grabbing at straws hoping that somebody will be his lifeline. He's reaching."
When asked about Frank's reunion with Annalise, Weber responded, "It's ridiculously intense. "It's been culminating the whole season and leading up to that moment when those two see each other."
Singer Mary J. Blige is also set to appear on the show, joining Annalise and the rest of the cast for season three. The "Queen of Hip-Hop Soul's" representatives confirmed the news to Billboard.
How to Get Away With Murder airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
