'SHERLOCK' Season 4 Spoilers, Updates, Release Date; 2017 Rumored To Be Last Full Season; No More Sherlock And Dr. Watson?
The best has not yet come to "Sherlock". Writer and Executive Producer Mark Gattis says they did the finest preparation as it comes back on the very first day of 2017. Gattis in an interview shared how they 'reverse engineered' the production of the modern "Sherlock", just to appear like the Victorian era version of the show. The producers invested on time making all angles more look like the classic film.
Moreover, "Sherlock" 4 is believed to be the darkest of all "Sherlock" series. Amanda Abbington, who stars as Mary Watson, earlier revealed in Comic Book that she underwent emotional depression during the movie production. Abbington admitted shedding a lot of tears and struck by the depth of the script. It was shown in the third season that she is carrying John Watson's child, and is expected to give birth during the pilot telecast. The character of Mary is also believed to die in one of the episodes either by giving birth or being killed by an enemy.
On the other hand, the series' lead star, Benedict Cumberbatch shared that the viewers may not agree to the continuation. "Sherlock" and Dr. Watson's partnership may not be present after the season 4. The duo is most loved by the fans for showcasing wit, humor and mental acuity during their crime busting activities.
"Sherlock" producers Steven Moffat and Gatiss earlier revealed that the Season 4 could be the finale. Moffat in an interview says that the casts have intertwined schedules, plus the fact that they are finding it difficult to stretch the show.
Meanwhile, Abbington promises that there will always be humor in each "Sherlock" episode, managing to lift the show during tough times. She also said that comic reliefs will always be a part of each episode to pull through.
Seemed like each episode will be savored, as it is gearing toward end! The fourth season of "Sherlock" is set to air on 2107. "The Six Thatchers" own the pilot episode on January 1, 2017 on BBC.
