Can anyone remember "American Gigolo"? Or is someone in love with that film? "American Gigolo" was released during the 1980s as one of the most successful crime drama films.

Richard Gere and Lauren Hutton both starred in the film "American Gigolo". Now it was reported that the classic film will be adapted and be rebooted by Showtime. It looks like it's not just Twilight who's interested in a reboot.

A reboot is indeed on its way as the "American Gigolo" reboot was already in the process as of 2014, according to reports. It was already been planned and its development is underway since that year. The adaptation will be from Paramount and Jerry Bruckheimer, original film's producer.

Bruckheimer will be an executive producer of the "American Gigolo" again as announced in his Jerry Bruckheimer TV Banner. In the making of the reboot, he would be working with Jonathan Littman, Kristie Anne Reed, James Oh, and Paul Schrader.

The "American Gigolo" in the past had a storyline set in Los Angeles. According to an article, Julian Kaye is the lead character in the story which is a high-end escort played by none other than Richard Gere. In the film he got tangled up with a politician's wife, also, this film caused Gere to be a sex symbol.

According to reports, the setting will be in modern Los Angeles for the reboot of "American Gigolo". The themes will be the same as the original Paramount film but viewers can expect that the theme may be the same but a different approach may be done to make the story the same but somewhat new.

"American Gigolo" reboot may have been the best news for some of the viewers. The song Call Me was used by "American Gigolo" and we could expect the same song to be used or maybe a similar kind of song. Most of the viewers already extended their excitement as they look forward to the release in the future.
