‘Rick and Morty’ Season 3 Updates: To Premiere On December 2016?
Rick and Morty, the tales of trans-dimensional travel, alcoholic outrage and some of the strangest stories ever written may come back to viewers’ screens sooner than they had expected.
According to Cinema Blend, the Adult Swim’s hit series “Rick and Morty” is just a few phases away from release. According to Erica Rosbe and Sarah Carbiener “Rick and Morty” Season 3 episodes have been completely written, and a portion of them has been animated.
What comes after the animation process are screening at the produers’ office. After the last evaluation of the product, it can be released to the public for viewing. It is only the animation process that is keeping new episodes from spawning soon, but this process is made heavier with the use of retroscripting. This is a process in which the plot is outlined, but the dialogue is left to the actors to improvise. Even though quite effective, this writing process puts a lot of strain on animators, which significantly slows down their work.
Fans should be not afraid for the show’s creators are flooding them with amazing short videos to entertain them while the original series is still on its run. A.V Club shares the videos with some short information added to them. The “Rick and Morty : Non Canonical Adventures” are a collection of short clay animation series. Instead of drawing on the original material, they make homage to some of the most-popular works of fiction, diffracting it through the show’s characters and spirit.
If that is not enough to satisfy fans’ anticipation, Adult Swim has released a short preview of an upcoming “Rick and Morty” episode. The story revolves around Rick accidentally turning himself into a pickle and rolling into the sewer. There he meets some hungry rats, who would simply love to have a quick snack with him. The rest is better viewed than explained, since it is pure, 100% authentic “Rick and Morty” development of the situation.
The new “Rick and Morty” Season 3 is expected to have 14 episodes, instead of ten and should be released before the end of 2016.
