Raven-Symone Announced She’s Leaving ‘The View’ To Start Working On ‘That’s So Raven’ Reboot: Here’s Everything That You Need To Know
Get ready for Raven Baxter and the rest of the gang! Raven-Symone just announced that she's leaving the popular talk show "The View" to work on a spin-off series of the hit series "That's So Raven."
E! News reported that there's no official title yet and for now, cast and crew are calling it "That's So Raven 2" and that it's going to feature Raven Baxter and his kids. Baxter is now a divorce mother of two. It can be recalled that Baxter possesses the special ability to see and have visions about the future.
The plot of the series will revolve around Baxter and her two kids - Nai and Booker. Apparently, one of her kids has inherited her powers. Nai is Raven's daughter described as someone who is confident and often finds herself in trouble. Her intentions are good and she always wants to help people. And as if life in middle school is not complicated enough, she now gets a power that allowed her to see the future.
Booker is Baxter's younger son. He could be naïve and innocent. He has a good heart and will only do a bad thing when he was trick into it and since he's gullible, he probably finds himself in a lot of compromising situations.
It is yet to be announced if members of the original cast are joining "That's So Raven" spinoff. IBT reported that Orlando Brown is interested on being part of the show again. Symone is also producing the show.
Adam Bonnett, Executive Vice President Disney Channel Worldwide have nothing but praise for Symone. Bonnett added that they are looking forward to working with her on the project and is excited to become part of the new generation of the Baxter family.
"That's So Raven" spin off is set to start production in 2017.
