‘Fifty Shades Darker' Release Date, News & Updates: Jamie Dornan More Comfortable Doing Scenes With Dakota Johnson
Jamie Dornan sat down with Jimmy Kimmel on the latter's late night show and shared some thoughts on filming the second movie of the "Fifty Shades" franchise. Dornan opened up about his professional relationship with lead actress Dakota Johnson and on the rumor of replacing him as Christian Grey.
According to ET Online in an exclusive interview, lead actor Dornan had stated that he became more relaxed shooting scenes for the second movie compared to the first. He mentioned that he felt a lot of pressure on most scenes from the first movie. That is because it was the first film of the franchise and he was still not used to how it was shot by the director and how it was played. But this time, the actor had felt that filming the second movie was a better experience.
Dornan is already married and while filming, wife Amelia Warner was always on set. Jamie Dornan's wife was even present during "Fifty Shades Darker" honeymoon set which was mostly made of intimate scenes, according to Game N' Guide. When asked if fans can see more bed scenes on Fifty Shades Darker, Dornan responded discreetly and said that fans are just going to have to find out when the movie gets released.
During Dornan's appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday, he was asked by the television host on his reaction about the rumors saying the 37-year old fellow hunk actor is going to replace him. When Kimmel asked him if he had known about this, the actor said that he did not hear such a thing.
"That would be really hard for them to do, considering we shot both of the movies," he jokingly stated, implying that they already finished the production for both sequels of the film series a few months ago. He added, "That's an expensive mistake, I'll put it that way."
The 34-year old actor and musician further said, "But good luck to him-he'll be great!", acknowledging that the Somerhalder is also a great actor, who was previously considered for the role before the production of the first movie began.
Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed are due to release on February 10, 2017 and February 9, 2018, respectively.
