A few weeks before Survivor Series 2016, WWE made a huge announcement this week about The Undertaker's return to the business after nearly seven months of being away from the ring. The Deadman is scheduled to appear on SmackDown Live episode 900th on November 15th.

SmackDown Live is set to celebrate its milestone 900th episode at the Mohegan Sun Arena. Monday Night Raw already celebrated its 1000th episode back in 2012, and if SmackDown's celebration is as big as Raw's, then fans are in for quite a night.

This is also the Deadman's first time in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, in a decade. The Undertaker is not only a cornerstone for the whole WWE, but he's also one of the biggest names in SmackDown's main roster since the beginning.

This had the internet buzzing that there could be more than one appearance from the Deadman himself. The episode is set just mere days before Team Raw and Team SmackDown Live clash at Survivor Series, many believe there will be more to it than just an "appearance".

Although some may argue that Mark Calaway's too old and out of shape to wrestle a series of matches, die-hard wrestling fans are still looking forward to what he can bring to the table. After all, this is a living legend, a man who turned a sketchy gimmick into one of the most popular gimmicks in WWE history.

According to WrestlingNewsWorld.com, The Undertaker is rumored to save his brother Kane from a current storyline that will put him against the likes of Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper.

"There is speculation that WWE may setup a match between The Undertaker and Randy Orton on this episode of SmackDown. This could be the reason WWE had Orton align himself with The Wyatt Family against Kane recently, as a possible return opponent for Taker at a later date.

The company feels that a 50-year old Undertaker would work best with a veteran like Orton inside the ring, with a less risk of possibly getting hurt in a match."

The 900th episode of SmackDown LIVE airs Nov. 15 at 8/7 C on USA Network.

It was also rumored that WWE is trying to pull Conor McGregor or Ronda Rousey for the 33rd annual Wrestlemania next year. There has been plenty of talk trying to work a deal for a UFC star. At Wrestlemania 32, WWE hinted a Ronda Rousey vs. Stephanie McMahon fight, so she would obviously be the first choice. However, UFC star Conor McGregor has gotten a lot of heat with a lot of WWE Talent saying that WWE Superstars are not as tough as MMA stars. It was rumored that some WWE Superstars wants to face him and school him in the squared circle.

Could Hulk Hogan possibly return to the WWE after that scandal against Gawker Media? The Hulkster reached a $31 million settlement for his lawsuit against Gawker Media regarding a leaked sex tape. Rumors started that this could pave the way for his return to WWE.

Last summer, Hogan was fired by WWE after a leaked audio of the superstar making racist remarks surfaced. WWE made a choice to distance itself from the Hulkster while he's at an all-time-low with the public. After all, this could get WWE a lot of heat.

But that was over a year ago, and much of that criticism has died down. In fact, fans are already complaining about WWE's separation with Hogan. There are also fans who believe that WWE should never bring him back.
