'Supergirl' Season 2 Episode 5 Spoilers & Updates: Will Something Happen To James?
“Supergirl” has had quite the successful run for its first season, is it going the right way, or is it not, readers can learn in the next lines of text.
Screenrant reports that it is possible for viewers to see “Cyborg Superman”. He is just as you might imagine, a powerful robotic villain, wearing the mask of Superman, so he can carry the blame for all the crimes performed by the robot. As reported, Cyborg Superman is one of the three Supermans who claim to be the revived Kal-El after his death in fighting Doomsday.
He first appeared in the 1990’s comic book series “The Death of Superman” and since then, has created havoc for the heroes and entertainment for fans of the series.
What else is there to expect in the upcoming episodes? Comic Book News shares that things will just become harder for Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) who will have to face-off against a new gang of criminals, who are armed to the teeth with dangerous alien technology. Later on in the episode it will be revealed that it is Cadmus who have armed the gang and have sent them to wreak havoc on the city. Is it just a weapons test, or part of their program to wipe out all superhumans, viewers should decide for themselves, when watching the series unravel themselves.
Last update comes from Entertainment Weekly that shares the development of Mon-El (Chris Wood)
and his interaction with the others in the team. He has been accepted into the team by Kara and as the others trust her and her judgment, they will try to bond with him. What is surprising is that unlike Kara, his weakness is not Kryptonite, but Lead.
How exactly will this affect his work, it is not yet unknown, but writers have promised to explore on the topic.
Another interesting mention is that Mon-El marked the beginning of the Dominators saga in the comic books. Dominators are a band of aliens, who appear on Earth, to rid humanity of the rising Metahuman threat. This ties will with the gang armed with alien weapons and may turn into the mid-season turning point and main issue over the ending of “Supergirl” Season 2.
“Supergirl” Season 2 Episode 5 is expected to air on 7 November, on CW.
