Emerald City is Coming Soon on our Screen

The iconic film Wizard of Oz has made great impacts in our childhood, and this mystical film is once again coming back to TV Series. Set your date on January 6, 2017, as NBC will once again take you to the world of wonders and magic of Emerald City.

In a flashing, strong tornado changed the life of Dorothy Gale and her K9 Dog. Starred by Adria Arjona, where E! Online said a lot of twist with this story in Emerald City that many do not know about. Like the movie, the characters will still be present, yet they will pop-up in an unexpected scene.

Director Tarsem Singh and Writers L. Frank  Baum and David Schulner went through an extensive resourcefulness on how the story will go. They portray the story and how the character will handle their roles.

Cinemablend said that the 1939 movie production will be 77 years this year and reviving the stories and concept is just prompt. In fact, Emerald City is given futuristic scenes which will bring back the interest of the viewers.

In the past year, there were Wizard of Oz miniseries that could hinder the series development. The nature of the show however will hook attention of viewers due to the multiple twists being done in Emerald City.

Published on Deadline, the Wicked Witch of the East will be played by Florence Kasumba an actress of Ugandan Origin but really a German. Vincent D'Onofrio, on the other hand, is the creator and playing as the Wizard.

One of the possible twists that Emerald City will feature is Dorothy's Romantic affair that will be played by Oliver Jackson-Cohen. This one hour drama will have a lot to say as it will carry us back to the wonderful Emerald City and the wonders that live within.
