Finding Carter Season 1 Episode 4 review: What did Gabe and Carter's kiss mean?; 5 Burning Questions from 'Now You See Me'
Lori continues to wait for her chance to get Carter, Max changes his mind about leaving and Elizabeth's affair continues. Here are my 5 Burning Questions from "Now You See Me":
No. 1 - Will Carter try to balance her old life and new life?
At the end of last night's episode we learn that Carter sort of forgot about Lori for a bit. That means she's enjoying her new life. On the other hand we know she still loves Lori and would probably want to live with her if Lori is able to regain her "daughter". So, if Carter reunites with Lori, will she also try to keep the friends - and family - she's made in her new life?
No. 2 - Did anyone believe the what Elizabeth told Kyle?
Elizabeth seemed to start up her affair once more with her partner and Gabe's father Kyle. She told Kyle she was done with her husband and would not go back to him. Now, her decision to hook up with him in a secluded room at the police station seemed to be motivated by David's decision to buy the girls a car and force her to ask her mother for money. If David's book deal comes through and he begins to provide for the family once more, is she really going to leave him? Also, who do you guys think will discover their affair first - Carter, David, or Gabe? Judging by how clever and nosey Grant can be, he'll probably be the first to figure it out.
No. 3 - What's wrong with Bird?
Bird seems to have some problems that are easy to spot. She doesn't really have a family setting at home since her parents are never there and she appears to get quite lonely at times. But will her deeper problems, exhibited by the man with the mask she drew, come into play later in the season?
No. 4 - What did the Carter/Gabe kiss mean?
After Gabe helped Carter take down all the copies of Bird's painting, they kissed. But was that a "this is going to go somewhere" kiss or a "thanks for helping me take down the scary pictures" kiss? Judging from Gabe and Ofe's conversation after the kiss, Gabe's not too sure.
No. 5 - How much paper did Bird use to put up all those pictures?
Bird's painting was on each floor of the high school. How much paper did she use? Also, how did she replenish all those photos so fast after Carter and Gabe took them down? Didn't she say doing the whole school took her all night?
