'Meghan Markle's Narcissistic, Selfish & Pushy Social Climber,' Says Half-Sister
The moment the romance between Prince Harry and American TV actress Meghan Markle became public, allegations about the actress' unpleasant personality hit the news, in an attempt to perhaps, destroy the relationship between the two. Meghan's siblings fought over the truth into the allegations.
Meghan Markle's half-sister, Yvonne, accused the former of abandoning their family, including their father who went bankrupt in the past when the actress decided to tread on the path of entertainment. She also accused "Suits" actress being "narcissistic," "selfish" and a "pushy social climber." The 51-year-old half-sister who also goes by the name, Samantha, also maintained that she helped in rearing the actress during the latter's childhood.
But, Thomas Markle, another half-sibling of the 35-year-old TV actress, belied Yvonne's allegations, saying Meghan fought hard in reaching for where she is right now and that she has no obligations to take care of everyone in their family. In a report from Daily Mail UK, Thomas was quoted to set the record straight on the issue of abandonment.
"Meghan didn't turn her back on everybody in the family, and it's not her responsibility to take care of everyone, she's worked very hard to get where she's at," said Thomas, adding that their father has supported them all throughout in the past.
Thomas also commented that Samantha did not have a real relationship with Meghan and since they all lived separately for several years, it is not right for Samantha to say negatively about Meghan. When asked whether the royal family will have headaches about his sister now that the Prince's romance has become public, the brother said he does not think the royal family will have a problem with Meghan or her family.
Prince Harry has been secretly dating Meghan Markle after they were introduced in May in Toronto.
