‘IPhone 8’ News And Updates: Wireless Charging Makes Its First Appearance In Apple
iPhone 8 and other Apple devices were once known for innovation are now losing its sheen over the years. Most important among them were iPhones, but the recent iPhones could not make any significant impact in the industry with innovation. Now it is reported that the upcoming "iPhone 8" would feature wireless charging technology. Although some phones from other manufacturers have already introduced this feature, it is a highly convenient to be included in iPhone 8 for wire-free charging.
Apple is expected to release the device in 2017 to mark 10 years journey in the smartphone industry. It is reported that the hardware manufacturer of iPhones, Foxconn is producing wireless charging segments to use in iPhone 8. It depends on the performance of the system and its test results would decide whether the functionality to be added into the upcoming flagship phone.

Previously Samsung S smartphones introduced the feature with a wireless charging plate. It is reported that the wireless charging technology be used in iPhone 8 will be similar to Apple watches. The patent submitted by Apple shown that the charging device could be of round shape with a concave top. It is widely believed that the device would charge the phone using inductive power transmission.
There were reports suggesting that the wire-free charging feature would have introduced in new MacBook Pro 2016. However, it was not included when it released and it could be due to the full-fledged testing couldn't yield sufficient result. But, one thing can be assured that even if iPhone 8 fails to include wireless charging, the future devices would be of wireless charging.
Apart from wireless charging, iPhone 8 is also reported to come with OLED display, which could be path-breaking if Apple gives up IPS LCD display and grab OLED. Further reports say that the phone will be using a completely covered glass; the touch ID functionality is expected to appear on the glass by design.
