"Grand Theft Auto 6" or "GTA" 6 is rumored for some time and now it reported that the game is delayed due to halts in the development of the game. Considering the success of the series "Grand Theft Auto", the upcoming installment carries huge expectations. It is reported that the developer and publisher of Grand Theft Auto 6, Rockstar, is found to have clashed with the development of other games including "Red Dead Redemption 2."

It should be noted that the last installment "GTA V" was released on 2013 and more than 3 years have been passed after the release. It should be referred that in every 4-5 years a new GTA installment would be released. It is reported that the production of GTA 6 has been stopped until an undisclosed date. It is also reported that the developer is unable to decide on the cars and brands to be used in GTA 6 and a finalization should be done before proceeding with the development.

There were reports in early this year that the developer was planning to shift the location of GTA 6 from U.S. to Tokyo. The former president of the developer, Leslie Benzies, is now in the court against the developer. He was the person who took care of GTA franchise earlier and also the lead developer of the game series.

Further, financial constraints also playing a vital role in delaying GTA 6. Though the franchise is highly successful and hugely demanded, the developer is forced to put some budget limitation during the development. This seems to have affected the development of GTA 6 and now the reports suggest that the developer would make a rethink about the budget due to a bigger and better GTA 6 can only make an impact.

The highly anticipated installment should be released at the earliest to make use to benefits especially considering the developments of new consoles, VR devices, Mobile platforms etc. A release date declaration for GTA 6 and a trailer can be issued like "Red Dead Redemption 2" by the developer to contain the eagerly waiting fans.
