The 2011 "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" was a huge success especially in PC; it is an action role-playing game developed by Bethesda Game Studios. Since the plot has not changed in Skyrim Special Edition, the changes can be marked with the improvements in visual as well as graphics. The console versions of the original were inferior to PC but this time it has an equal footing and has improved a lot reports Gamespot.

The Skyrim Special Edition looks very vibrant and eye- catching, the lighting of the game explores the game plots in wider angles. The graphics and visuals are excellent. Even the water flowing in the river fluctuates with the flowing rate and the speed of flow according to the direction and angle of inclination, which is a major improvement from original, cited by Kotaku.

While discussing the shortcomings of Skyrim Special Edition it is important to note that character models and textures looking outdated as it is the remaster of a five-year-old game. The awkward animation attempts and incorrect lip syncing make some conversations funny, reported by Attack Of The Fanboy. Skyrim Special Edition also has some bugs like its original and that creates issues like dialogue cutting off early, stuck in an object etc.

Skyrim Special Edition is good with its advancement in terms of graphics and could offer a visual treat. But the character profiling and plotting could have been done better creatively. People who loved the original version will be impressed with Skyrim Special Edition. The game lives up to the original and not lagging behind like "Batman: Return To Arkham".
