Singer and composer Taylor Swift may have truly showed maturity and professionalism during Drake's 30th birthday celebration on October 24 at Club Delilah. The implied truce between the sides of Swift and Katy Perry may indicate that someday, the two may find a way to leave everything behind and begin a friendship.
Swift, who reportedly had an intimate dance with the celebrant at the later part of the party, was in oblivion that her friend-enemy Katy Perry and ex-boyfriend John Mayer were also guests. It can be recalled that both Swift and Perry are Mayer's ex-girlfriends.
According to reports, upon knowing that Perry and Mayer are at the party, Swift refused to make a scene by leaving. Instead, she chose to stay at her table with her squad crew including Karlie Kloss, and found ways to enjoy the night without bumping into either Mayer or Perry.
"Taylor was ready to party when she got there, but when she realized Katy and John were there, she just stayed put at her table," US Magazine quoted a source as saying. "She didn't want to make a big scene and leave when she saw they were there too," the magazine continued on its report.
As for Perry and Mayer, they reportedly exchanged pleasantries. News also say Perry was not bothered by Swift's presence as she was at the party to have a good time. Katy Perry is reportedly dating actor Orlando Bloom.
26-year-old Taylor Swift, whose last romance was with actor Tom Hiddleston for a three-moth affair, arrived in a stunning outfit. She wore a black leather skirt paired with bandeau bra and completed her getup with a trench coat.
But while Swift was able to survive the night without engaging in a disastrous manner with Katy Perry and without having to snub ex-boyfriend John Mayer, the artist still hit the news as Drake's ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, cautioned the blondie singer not to get romantically connected with Drake, lest, she would end up writing bitter songs. Rihanna was nowhere during Drake's birthday bash.
