‘Grey's Anatomy’ Season 13 Episode 6 Spoilers & Updates: Leah Murphy's Awkward Return, Marika Dominczyk Debuts As Eliza Minnick
Why has Leah (Tessa Ferrer) returned back to Grey Sloan? How is she back? Will she even be welcome by the doctors and everyone after what she did?
Apparently not, according to the sneak peek released on TV Line. Fans were excited to learn that Tessa Ferrer, who plays Leah Murphy on ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy”, would be returning to the show for Season 13, though maybe not as excited as when Season 13 Episode 6 “Roar” revealed that there would be quite the drama taking place. Including a possible romantic reunion for Arizona (Jessica Capshaw).
As might be remembered Leah and Arizona once had a thing together, until the former was fired. Karev also slept together with Leah, a situation that proved awkward. In the clip shared by Movie Fone, Karev and Arizona are enjoying their cafeteria break, with the main topic on everyone’s mind being how Leah could have been let back, when in comes Maggie. Having never known the disgraced doctor before, she gushes about the doctor’s suture techniques which are “really great”, causing the former two to laugh.
Elsewhere in the cafeteria DeLuca, Jo, and Stephanie also discuss the events surrounding the firing of Leah. Stephanie ends up making a negative remark about the doctor that just so happens to be caught by Leah, who just walked in.
Considering Callie (Sara Ramirez) is gone, Arizona may just find an old-new love interest in Leah as “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 13 goes on. Executive producer Shonda Rhimes had already revealed that Arizona will definitely be getting a new love interest which will help the character grow as a person. A sentiment shared by Jessica Capshaw who told Entertainment Weekly that she hoped Arizona would get together with someone who would spice up the former’s love life.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Marika Dominiczyk will debut in the November 3 episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” as the new consultant Eliza Minnick. According to EW, her presence will be something of a tense situation, especially as she begins involving herself in OR matters.
“Grey’s Anatomy” airs 8 pm on Thursdays, ABC.
