Kesha talked about being verbal, emotionally, physically and sexually abuse. She was constantly body shamed in front of many people. It leads her to have an eating disorder. She was even called a 'fat refrigerator'!. Kesha also mentioned that she was sexually abused for the course of 10 years. Kesha felt depressed and felt that she is not in control of her life. There were times that she tried to kill herself and there was an instance that she almost did. She decided to go to a rehabilitation center especially for Eating Disorders.

On October 2014, Kesha sue Dr. Luke, her producer, and mentor, for all the abuse she experienced that led her to kill herself. People Music confirms that the case is still ongoing. Dr. Luke filed a counter case against Kesha for Defamation and for breaching the contract. There was a previous case filed in California, but Kesha decided to drop so that she can focus on the case filed in New York. Dr. Luke had insistently denied Kesha's allegations and said that he didn't rape her and had never had sex with her.

According to ET, After the release of Kesha's first album 'Animal' in 2010, she made a lot of fans and went on a tour, this is when Dr. Luke started to change his treatment towards her. Kesha felt that she had felt the pressure to starve herself. The pressure made her sick and felt like torture to her family. She told about the instance when she was drugged by Dr. Luke and raped at the same time.

Kesha wants to be out of her existing contract, but Sony Music is not releasing her. She felt that her voice can't be heard and can't express herself. She said she isn't earning money at the moment because she hasn't released any album yet. Perez Hilton reported that Christine Lepera, Dr. Luke's Lawyer, issued a statement that they have received the 22 songs Kesha sent and made an arrangement to work with the music company to make sure that it will sell. She also said that releasing an album takes some time. The company has invested a budget for the music production. The company has offered Kesha to make an advance release of one of the songs, but Kesha's team rejected.

The legal battle is not yet over, whatever the outcome is, people wish Kesha to be better and get back on track.
