Ciara is Pregnant! Singer Expecting First Child With Russell Wilson
Ciara finally confirmed that she is pregnant with her second child after weeks of speculation. Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson also confirmed via Twitter and Instagram Tuesday night that his wife, Ciara, is pregnant with what will be their first child.
Rumors had been circulating for weeks after Ciara was continually spotted in looser-fitted clothing than normal, NYDaily News reported. The announcement came on what was Ciara's 31st birthday, and she likewise revealed the news via social media. "The Greatest Blessing of All. Forever Grateful. #BabyWilsonOnTheWay," Wilson Tweeted.
Wilson is no doubt more than ready for fatherhood, as he has already talked in the past about how much love he has for Ciara's son Future. "When I see this kid, he's only 2 years old ... He's so sweet and so loving, always has a smile on his face. Always joking around, always running around the house," he told Maria Shriver in August on her Architects for Change web series.
The couple got engaged in March after a year-long courtship. Wilson proposed in the Seychelles following Paris Fashion Week. The two were married on July 6 at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, England, according to Seattle Times.
The bride was outfitted in a custom Cavalli Couture gown made up of white silk tulle, glass beading, Chantilly lace and a floral motif, while the groom opted for a Giorgio Armani Made to Measure black six-button peak lapel set of evening tails.
Ciara confirmed her pregnancy via Instagram: "On this special Birthday I received an abundance of love from friends and family.. and I'm excited to Finally share one of the Greatest Gifts of All that God could give..." Ciara also has a son, Future Zahir Wilburn, who was born May 19, 2014, with the rapper, Future.
