We all know how Apple's iPhones take the edge on camera quality on the smartphone industry. Except if it is really a camera turned smartphone, which is highly focused on the camera pixels and tweaks.

For today's iPhone 7 Plus, another camera upgrade and enhancement has been unveiled, the "Portrait" feature. CNet says that it would be accessible right after the 10.1 update. It works like a DSLR in some ways, like the 'bokeh' effect, the wide lens and blurry background that is well known for sort of DSLRs.

As per TechCrunch, handful of photos are already taken well despite the fact that the feature is just a 'beta'. Though it has some minor quirks, still a good leap for Apple.

According to 9to5Mac, "The new Portrait mode was very impressive in outdoor lighting and 2x optical zoom was fun to try. We also took a walk through a bamboo park where I tried underwater video capture for the first time." Zach Hall said to his iPhone 7 Plus 'Portrait' review.
