Taylor Swift Dissed By Katy Perry's Friends After Awkward Run-In At Drake's Party
Drake, 30, pulled out a very big celebration for his 30th birthday party - and that included, of course, a majorly star-studded guest list.
The rapper invited Taylor Swift, 26, to the celebration at Delilah in West Hollywood, and she arrived with her besties, Karlie Kloss, 24, and the Haim sisters, along with a group of other pals. The guest list also included Jamie Foxx, French Montana, Shay Mitchell and Drake's dad Dennis Graham
Taylor Swift and Katy Perry ran into each other at the party in Los Angeles on Oct. 23, and it couldn't have been more awkward. At one point, "Taylor walked by Katy and Katy's people laughed at Taylor, but she brushed them off and walked away," a source exclusively told HollywoodLife.com.
The two celebrities have "bad blood". It all started when Taylor admitted that she wrote "Bad Blood" about a friendship that went bad. Fans speculated that Katy was the ex-friend behind the song. Things got worse when Perry threw shade at Taylor during her 2015 Super Bowl performance.
In photos shared by TMZ on October 24, Taylor Swift and John Mayer were both seen wearing black, as were the majority of Drake's guests. Swift infamously penned her hit breakup song "Dear John" after splitting from Mayer. However, while Swift is known for her habit of turning heartbreak into hits, Mayer was completely blindsided by the track, according to Inquisitr.
It's unclear if Taylor was at the party at the same time as Katy and John, or if any interaction occurred between them. It was reported that Drake sent Taylor a sweet message on Instagram after her performance at The Circuit of the Americas on Oct. 22.
