Demi Lovato Says Goodbye To Long Hair, Goes Back to Brunette
In an unprecedented move, American pop singer Demi Lovato renewed her allegiance to the brunette community five days after sporting a blonde hairdo. The 24-year-old "Confident" singer shared her new look on October 21 on Instagram Stories where she commands a huge following of 48.6 million fans. A photo of herself in bed was posted, smirking from behind her natural tresses.
Five days before, the Disney alum was sporting a blonde hairdo, which according to People magazine is linked to her role as an ambassador for Well Koleston hair care brand. Lovato mentioned in an Instagram post that she was "feeling confident with this blonde." Her fans commended the artist's look, which they found "stunning."
The singer was spotted rocking her dark brown do outside Catch restaurant in West Hollywood, California on Saturday. The reason for the sudden change remains unknown, as of this writing.
Lovato has been popular for pulling off every haircut, color, and style. Her locks have gone from pink to purple and blue. Back in 2013, she was also blonde. Her hair styles have tried short, long and shave cuts.
In early October, Lovato shocked her fans with her plan to take a hiatus from Hollywood in 2017. She tweeted on October 4 that is she is "taking a break from music and the spotlight." She added that she is not meant for the business and the media.
One of her followers asked Lovato if she is coming back. Lovato did not give a reassuring response. "Dunno. It doesn't feel worth it anymore. I'd rather do charity work, to be honest," she wrote.
Before Lovato announced her planned vacation, she ignited the entertainment world by slamming fellow singer Swift and her supermodels gang in an interview with "Glamour" magazine earlier this month. A video was posted on Entertainment Tonight's website that highlights Lovato's comments about the Grammy-awardee.
