‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 8 Premiere Recap, Spoilers & Updates: New Monsters Are In Town

The final season of "The Vampire Diaries" has finally premiered last October 21. The show's writers put a lot of spoilers in the first episode, leaving fans asking why the series had to have its final walk in Season 8.

According to Entertainment Weekly, each episode of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 comes from some important character lines in the series' first season. In fact, the premiere episode title "Hello, Brother" came from pilot episode of the show. It is the first two words uttered by Damon Salvatore. It is in these words that Stefan found out that he's not alone in being a vampire after another animal attack was reported. Stefan saw his brother in their balcony saying, "Hello, Brother".

Years later, this scene is reversed. Stefan is now searching of the possibilities on where to find his brother. He wanted to save him from whatever trouble he is in. Looking back at the few, last episodes of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7, Damon was in a killing mode with Enzo.

The report points out how Enzo and Damon selects their victims: the bad guys. It notes that in their latest killing spree, the two asked the couple about what their bad deeds were. The man admitted his and he was put into a painful death, while the woman had a painless one.

Meanwhile, according to TV Guide, "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 introduced a new monster in the premiere episode, which everyone will learn to despise. The report says it can surpass all the monsters which were introduced in the entire course of the series.

It was figured out that one of the killers which are keeping fans thrilled is Virginia (Aisha Duran). One of the key heroes of the episode is Caroline, who came rushing home to put Virginia off the line. Fans will get to see how this story will progress in the upcoming episodes of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. Viewers will also witness how Enzo will fight off a siren who's making a lot of rounds lately.
