Perrie Edwards Confirms Zayn Malik Dumped Her Via Text
Perrie Edwards has confirmed that former One Direction member Zayn Malik ended their four-year relationship over a text message. Edwards and Malik revealed they had gone their separate ways in summer 2015, two years after announcing their engagement. Reports mplied that Zayn had chosen to end the relationship with a text message, which Perrie initially did not comment on.
Edwards confession led the hashtag "#PerrieExposedZaynParty" to trend on Twitter. For the most part, the majority of commenters seemingly sided with and felt bad for Edwards. In a leaked passage from the book, which has been posted online by a "Little Mix" fan site, Edwards described the break up as the 'worst time' of her life as she opened up it for the first time in her band's eye-opening new book "Our World," according to The Sun. "Even though things in my career were going really well, it was incredibly difficult for me," she wrote.
Edwards recalled, during the group's promotional appearance on the U.K.'s Heart Radio following the release of their new single "Shout Out to My Ex," about a phone call she received from Malik that caused her to have a meltdown in the middle of the airport. Members of the group explained that they tried to shield her from other people so no one could take any photos.
NW Online reported Zayn Malik has now allegedly ordered ex-fiancé Perrie Edwards to move out of his North London pad home following the end of their two-year engagement last month. Edwards stated she lived out of a suitcase for a month and half.
Edwards confirmed on August that she is currently dating "Our Girl and Skins" star Luke Pasqualino, after they were spotted looking cozy together. Zayn, on the other hand, is currently dating supermodel and designer Gigi Hadid. According to OK!, Zayn invited Gigi to come and live with him in his LA pad and she accepted.
