Reviews coming out about GoPro Hero5 often say that it promise a lot of good things, including being cheaper and better than the previous model Hero4. However, there are also a lot of reviews coming out that Xaomi Yi 2 4K can beat GoPro Hero 5 in a lot of aspects.

Both GoPro Hero 5 and Xiaomi Yi 2 4K can shoot 4K resolution videos at 30 frames per second. They can also do 1080p at 120 frames per second. GoPro dived into introducing a touch, built-in screen through Hero5 Black, which gives it a similar look with Xiaomi Yi 4K.

According to Youtuber AuthenTech - Ben Schmanke, Xiaomi Yi 2 4K's touchscreen is better than GoPro Hero5 Black. For one, it is a bit larger than GoPro Hero5 Black. Also, it displays clearer images. Clicking through it is also a lot faster than GoPro Hero 5 but the reviewer hopes that it's only some of GoPro's software glitches which can later be easily fixed.

The best thing about GoPro Hero5 Black is that it can now be submerged under water even without a waterproof case. As for the Xiaomi Yi 2 4K camera, you still need to buy the gear to start shooting under water.

Trusted Reviews notes that this is a few of the cons in buying the Xiaomi Yi 2 4K. When buying the unit, you won't get any free mounts and cases. And because it only has one button control, underwater shooting can be quite difficult.

Despite all these, Xiaomi Yi 2 4K won the hearts of tech critics online because it defeats GoPro in producing quality shots. Also, the device is a lot cheaper than any GoPro model. At Amazon, it costs $249.99. Meanwhile, GoPro's latest release, Hero 5 Black, costs $399. Camera lovers who wish to get a look of each camera's quality done side-by-side, check the video down below.
