New and Improved "Google Flights" Now Helps You Find The Best Deals and Prices in Booking Your Flights and Accommodation At The Best Time

Everyone loves to travel but making your travel planning especially this coming holiday season is stressful with the rapid changing prices of flight tickets and accommodation. Google, however just announced a new and improved "Google Flights". 

New features of Google flight-searching tool helps you in making your travel planning less stressful by finding the best deals and prices in booking your flights and/or accommodation at the best time by giving you an alert and new updates to mobile notification when flights are likely to increase in price, helping you find good hotel deals, and making travel planning easier on mobile or allow you to track flights by email to see how they fluctuate.

As the Project Manager Nabil Naghdy explained in a release on Monday, "After selecting a specific flight, a notification may appear letting you know when the current fare is expected to expire and how much you can save if you book now. For example, this flight to San Diego is likely to cost more in eight hours - and you would likely save $87 if you book before then".

If You Haven't Selected A Flight Yet

For an example, Google used a trip from New York City to San Diego.

Google Flights will show you a variety of possibilities to ensure a cheap travel, as you will see notification bar with multiple tips showing how to find the best price for this route including alternate airports and dates. You may also be given a new tip telling you about an expected price jump based on historic prices for that route. Tapping the notification will give you details about how likely the price rise is and by how much it will be.

If you're not ready to book yet

Google Flights will send you notifications via email to let you know when price are expected to change and that will help you choose to track your flight or route.

Finding Hotel Deals

Aside from best price for plane ticket, Google Flights is also offering more ways to find best hotel deals under the "Deals" section. It will show you when a hotel's price is lower than the usual pricing, and it also offers a neat filter for hotel discounts compared to the normal rate for those dates. Google will also notify users if there are deals for loyalty members on hotels' websites.

We can expect over this coming weeks that the fare expiration and expected price jump notifications will be rolling everywhere Google Flights is available.
