Toni Braxton Heads To Chicago For 'The Hits Tour' After Hospitalization
Toni Braxton is back after her hospitalization in Cleveland on Saturday afternoon and is heading towards Chicago to perform one of her scheduled "The Hits Tour," a statement from her Twitter account reads. In the latest Tweet, Braxton, 49, is excited to see her fans.
Toni Braxton Tour "The Hits" in Cleveland was cancelled due to complications on the singer's systemic lupus erythematosus, an autoimmune disease that has been diagnosed late in 2010. Braxton, 49, was supposed to hold her concert in that City on Saturday night, but was instead hospitalized on Saturday afternoon, reports said.
On Sunday, a social media administrator of the "Un-break My Heart" hit artist went to Twitter to explain: "Toni Braxton was hospitalized this afternoon in Cleveland due to complications with her Lupus." The statement continued saying "Unfortunately, her show tonight in Cleveland will need to be postponed."
"Lupus needs to be constantly monitored," the Tweet added but assured her fans that "This minor setback should not affect the rest of her tour." Saturday's hospitalization came just days after she was also admitted to a hospital in Los Angeles earlier in October.
Fans were also assured through Twitter that tickets sold for the concert in Cleveland will not go to waste as they will still be honored when the schedule for the concert has been set.
In her 18-date "The Hits Tour" which kicked-off on 12th of October, Toni Braxton has been traveling to various cities around the country with special guests. Last Friday night, Toni Braxton performed with the special appearance of Birdman in Detroit then in Kansas City.
Toni Braxton began her singing career with her younger sisters in 1980s known as "The Braxtons." Her hits include "You're making me high," "Another sad love song," and "Breathe again," among others.
Born in Maryland, Toni Braxton's net worth is $10 Million Dollars, according to Celebrity Networth. She is expected to complete her "The Hits Tour" on January 29, 2017 in Los Angeles.
