The Star Wars: Rogue One has shown its final trailer recently. The upcoming movie contains all the things fans love about the franchise.

Star Wars: Rogue One - Movie About Hope

 The movie pits a small group of rebels against the might of the Galactic Empire. But the rebels are determined to push on with their mission even if the odds are against them, according to the New York Times. After all, Jyn Erso (played by Felicity Jones) said that "Rebellions are built on hope." The official Star Wars: Rogue One Trailer could be watched here.

Star Wars: Rogue One Storyline

Star Wars: Rogue One tells the story of rebel group tasked with stealing the Death Star's blueprints. Fate has deemed that Jyn Erso happens to be daughter of the man responsible for building the moon sized space station. Fans would also see Darth Vader in the film. The trailers also showed epic battle scenes involving rebels and storm troopers fighting it out. Walkers, X-Wings and Imperial Star Destroyer figure prominently in the film.

The story for Star Wars: Rogue One takes place between Star Wars Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars Episode VI Return of the Jedi. This explains how the rebels managed to get blueprints.

Star Wars: Rogue One Cast Diversity

Accompanying Jones in this upcoming film are Diego Luna (Captain Cassian Andor), Ben Mendelsohn (Imperial Director Orson Krennic), Mads Mikkelsen (Galen Erso) and Forest Whitaker (Saw Gerrera). Other notable inclusions in the cast are Donnie Yen (Chirrut Imwe) and Jiang Wen (Baze Malbus). Alan Tudyk will be the voice for K-2S0, an Imperial Enforcer reprogrammed by Andor. Darth Vader will once again be voiced by James Earl Jones but physically represented by Spencer Wilding.

Star Wars: Rogue One Release Date

 Star Wars: Rogue One is expected to be shown in theaters on December 16, 2016. The Star Wars movie spin off is produced by Lucasfilm and distributed by Walt Disney Studios.
