"Fantastic Beasts and Where to find Them" is now part of a five movie series instead of the original planned trilogy film. This announcement was made by no less than J.K. Rowling.
Harry Potter Prequel Consists of Five Movies
"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is the first of the Harry Potter prequel film. Previously, it was thought that the prequels will be a film trilogy,according to Glamour Magazine.
But Harry Potter creator and writer J.K. Rowling proudly informed the fans about the new five movie line up. The announcement was made at London on October 13, according to US Magazine.

The setting of the story has a different time line than the Harry Potter movie series. Viewers will see wizards living in the 1920s, in New York to be exact. The main protagonist of the film is Newt Scamander (played by Eddie Redmayne). He is a wizard who brought several fantastic and magical beasts with him to New York.
However, some of the creatures were accidentally released by No-Maj (same meaning as Muggle) Jacob Kowalsky (played by Don Fogler). Other casts and characters include Percival Graves (played by Colin Farrel), the Magical Security Director, Porpentina Goldstein (played by Katherine Waterson) a former Auror and her sister Queenie (played by Alison Sudol).

Lucky fans were able to catch a glimpse of the first ten minutes of the upcoming film. The scene started about investigating about mysterious and hidden beasts wandering in the countryside. Newspapers are screaming headlines about everyone's safety and of a dark wizard called Gellert Griddelwald.

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is expected to be released on November 18. Rumors have it that the second installment is currently under production. Meanwhile, the third Harry Potter prequel may be ready by late 2020.
