'Sister Wives' Season 8 Updates: Brown Wives Turning Against Each Other The Cause Of Show's Cancellation?

Despite fact that TLC's "Sister Wives" finished airing Season 7, fans remain ever yet hopeful to catch the next antics of Kody Brown with his 4 wives as they go about their daily lives. To this day, there has not yet been any confirmation on whether the show will be renewed, or cancelled.

An anonymous insider revealed that there was little the show could say, leaving TLC with the possible option of replacing it. The nameless source went on to add that rather than bonding, the wives had began fighting over who was to blame for the show's current predicament. While last season saw Meri Brown bring new drama to the show and family, there was little story to the women overall. It is generally hoped that these disagreements could do good for "Sister Wives" television drama despite not making for a great family life.

According to Life & Style though, fights and disagreements between the four wives might undermine efforts to renew the show. 

Last season saw "Sister Wives" star Meri Brown catfished by a woman who pretended she was a man. This led to quite the drama when Meri later revealed that she had grown attached to the woman, though she assured everyone that it never got any further.

An article on the Inquisitr indicated that Meri Brown had been dating a Hawaiian man. Though not legally married to Kody Brown anymore, she has pointed out that she still remains spiritually wed to him. Despite making it clear that she was no longer interested in being a part of the Browns anymore, Meri assured everyone that that did not mean she was leaving though.

Having a new man in her life might change Meri's thoughts on the matter however, and lead to her leaving the family. The article's source said that Meri was already gone. She was always travelling frequently and might possibly be done with the show altogether.It is not known if this is the same insider that spoke of the wives having disagreements as well. 

A while back, on Radar Online, an article claimed that all 4 of Kody's wives wanted to leave when he indicated that he was looking to get new wives, angering the women he already had. At the time it was considered that that would be a legitimate reason leading to the family and the show unravelling. In addition, a number of the wives had indicated that they were looking to create new opportunities elsewhere. Should the rumors be validated and the show cancelled, it will be a sad day indeed for the many fans the show has accumulated over the course of its six year run.

Confirmation is yet to be revealed on what might really be going on regarding them. Meanwhile, viewers hope to really know the truth on the Brown family drama in another season. This being a reality television show though, the family is entitled to keep a few secrets of their own even as they show fans what is going on.
