The "Game of Thrones," " Winds of Winter" may herald the end of the Dragons. Their extinction will mean the end of magic in Westeros.

When the Dragons disappeared from Westeros so did magic. But the Dragons and magic are back and with their return, other dark forces accompanied them. The question is will the Dragons survived or is magic doomed to extinction? How will they fare against the Others and Citadel masters?

Daenerys is prophesied to be a savior according to archmaster Marwyn. She and her Dragon companions will prevail over the "Others" and the Night's King. However, there are hints that she might fail in her quest but it is her fate to try nonetheless, according to idigitaltimes.

Not everyone is happy though that the Dragons brought back the magic in the world. Their enemies and the Citadel Masters are not thrilled with them. However, the dragons' main adversary is the "Others". They seemed to be perfectly capable of taking down a dragon, according to IGN.

There are speculations that all of the dragons or even Daenerys will die in the fight. The Targaryen dynasty is all but over since Daenerys herself is incapable of producing an heir. The people themselves are not too excited about the idea either. Many of them were quite adept in abusing their abusing their authority and their rule is quite oppressive.

Daenerys is no different from them. But she will unite the seven separate kingdoms under her rule. However, her rule may last only until the people survive the endless winter. A number of the dragons might be killed by the Others and Citadel Masters. Some may be stolen by chracters such as Euron Greyjoy. If the dragons disappear again, will it mean another chance of peace in Westeros?
