Tom Hanks is set to return as Robert Langdon in the third installment of the 'The Da Vinci Code' franchise. "Inferno" is the third book by Dan Brown and is ready to appear on the big screens.

In a report from Arts.Mic, Langdon discovers a virus that can diminish the Earth's population. This realization happens right after Langdon wakes up from a mild amnesia in "Inferno." He is the only one to save the Earth and try to find a way to do it.

"Inferno" shows that there are things that happened during Landon's amnesia which made him a part of the plot. He then has to do something to stop this plot in diminishing the Earth's population. Langdon uncovers secrets along the way in the film.

In a report from DW, it is indicated that Langdon is going to solve the puzzle in Dante's "Inferno. " The third installment the 'The Da Vinci Code' franchise is expected to present symbols and codes that need to be unveiled.

Just like the previous films of the same author, "Inferno" is set to bring in more mysteries to be solved by Langdon. He is still going to be moving fast just to make it on time to save the world. Langdon is a professor of symbols and is the only one who can read them and thus is the only one who has the chance to save the Earth from this virus.

Meanwhile, the success of these films comes from the books by Dan Brown. He is the author of 'The Da Vinci Code' and 'Angels & Demons. 'The one thing in common from these books is the symbology and solving puzzles to reach to the correct conclusion. This also goes the same with the latest film "Inferno."

Tom Hanks once again is set to unravel mysteries in "Inferno." The film is directed by Ron Howard and is the third book by Dan Brown of 'The Da Vinci Code' series. The film is set to air on October 28, 2016.
