'Avengers 4' Latest News & Update:Marvel Character Added, 'The Wasp' Set To Roll?
Despite the fact that "Avengers: Infinity War" is coming out in 2018, details and hints on "Avengers 4" which is coming out in 2019, are already leaking out to the public. Reports say that there will be emergence of new characters we can expect to see in the fourth movie.
Take for example, the Wasp. Evangeline Lilly, the actress who starred in the 2015 "Ant-Man" as Hope van Dyne, recently interviewed with Blastr regarding her future with the Marvel Universe.
Fans who were hoping to catch her appearance sooner may be somewhat disappointed by what Evangeline told reporters. However, they may not be disappointed for long. The Wasp would not appear in the third Avengers film.
Instead, her eventually-a-superhero character would initially star in "Ant-Man and the Wasp", the sequel to "Ant-Man," that premieres after. It is expected, however, that she will transform into the Wasp before "Avengers 4." As Evangeline explained, the Ant-Man sequel will act as a prologue for her character's backstory before she joins the Avengers in the fourth film.
Lilly explained to Blastr that she was excited as she would basically be able to tell Wasp's origin. Moreover, the fans would be able to watch as the Wasp don the suit and the heroic code inspired by Ant-Man. Of course, she would fly as well and that would be fun.
According to Movie Fone, she told reporters, it was better overall for her character to appear in the fourth and not the third Avengers film. This way, the unveiling of the Wasp would make more sense and be even more exciting.
Producers assure fans however, that come Infinity War, they will have all the heroes they can enjoy to keep things exciting.
Stay tuned as both "Ant-Man and the Wasp" and "Avengers: Infinity War" premiere in 2018. The former on July the 6th, and the latter on May the 8th. They will then be followed by "Avengers 4" in 2019.
