'Lucifer' Season 2 Episode 3 Updates & Spoilers: Charlotte Back for Good, Is Amenadiel Dying ?

The latest episode for "Lucifer" Season 2, episode 3, our two heroes Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) and Chloe Decker (Lauren German) try to solve a possible murdering spree. The teaser for "Sin-Eater", the name in itself is a clue to what lies ahead, begins with Chloe and Lucifer heading out to investigate a man who has just been found dead under odd circumstances.

According to International Business Times, what they found is that the man has been hanged, with an apple placed inside his mouth. This leads Chloe to discern that here is a pattern and discover a serial killer is out there. Upon attempting to get closer to find more clues, she is stopped by Lucifer, who warns her that the chains surrounding the man might be part of a trap.

In addition to all this, Lucifer and Amenadiel's mother come back to Los Angeles to stay. Played by Tricia Helfer, Charlotte Richards, as she goes by now, has taken on a human identity in the hopes of getting closer to her sons. Though she may not stay in this form as Lucifer in "Lucifer" Season 2 Episode 2 hinted to her changing her form in the future.

The supernatural mom attempts to convince Lucifer that she is back on Earth to reunite with her family, though she has her work cut out for her as Lucifer is suspicious of her intentions and Amenadiel (played by D.B.Woodside), her other son, is not really excited to see her as well. Get ready to see family drama come into play.

What makes it complicated, according to iTech Post, is that Amendiel may be become mortal. In "Lucifer" Season 2 Episode 2 he discovered that feathers from his wings, the symbols of his power, were slowly coming off. Possibly as a result from his mother's return.

In desperation, Amenadiel reaches out to Dr. Linda (Rachael Harris) in "Lucifer" Season 2 Episode 3, opening up about his worries and the fact that Maze (Lesley Ann-Brandt) has been avoiding him the past few weeks or so. Following this, Amenadiel and Maze may "accidentally" stumble onto each other while Maze is out with Linda, forcing a conversation that may just reveal a few surprising things.
