The Mikaelsons are going to face more threats and challenges in this upcoming "The Originals" Season 4. This season has been speculated to be the last because of "The Vampire Diaries'" being on its final season.

According to iTechPost, "The Originals" focuses on the original vampires from "The Vampire Diaries." This spin-off is led by Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) and focuses on the origin of the family. In this upcoming season, the family faces more threats from the enemies.

"The Originals" Season 4 will have the family Mikaelson to be in great danger and it is something that they have never been expected after all these years. Klaus is the leader of the family and considered to be the immortal one. He is half werewolf which makes him even more special .to the family. It can be recalled that from the previous season, Klaus has been locked up and is in danger.

Once "The Originals" Season 4 kicks in, a five-year time jump can be expected. This time, Klaus' daughter Hope (Summer Fontana) is already all grown up. There are speculations that Hope is the only one who can save Klaus from the curse that is keeping him in prison. It is also a possibility that Caroline is going to be the one that can save Klaus.

A previous report from News Everyday indicate that Caroline may be the one to save Klaus Mikaelson. This may be a possible crossover from the two shows. Caroline can leave Mystic Falls and go to New Orleans to seek Klaus in "The Originals" Season 4.

Meanwhile, a new villain is also coming to "The Originals" Season 4. This new villain is known to be a sadistic vampire that is seeking revenge towards the family. Once Klaus wakes up from his curse, he not only faces Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) but also he will deal with this new threat coming their way.
