NBA News 2016: Dwyane Wade's Answer On Whether LeBron James Might Surpass Michael Jordan As The GOAT

LeBron James is now a proud holder of three NBA championship rings. He has just delivered on his promise to bring the first ever basketball championship in history to his hometown.

As reported by Christian Post, six years ago, LeBron James joined with two all-stars in South Beach, ditching the Cleveland Cavaliers - his first NBA team - in his goal to win not one, but six or more, championships. He has thus far acquired two Larry O'Brien trophies in the process.
Even so, his legacy remains uncertain, despite the championships he might win dressed in Heat uniform. Sceptics have doubted whether he is capable of leading the team to much desired championship by himself, without help from some of the other superstars.

It has been an amazing period for LeBron James, who has squashed any doubts to his claim to basketball domination. Whilst the Cavaliers still have Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving, in their right NBA stars, James' track with the Cavaliers has been nothing short of phenomenal.

A mass conversion occurred after he almost single-handedly carried the Cavaliers for much of the 2015-2016 season up until the finals. His critics - turned believers - hailed him as possibly the best player of his generation all around.

But that is not enough for the man himself. No, he desires to be remembered as simply the player ever to play in the history of basketball. According to Sports Illustrated: "My motivation is this ghost I'm chasing," James said. "The ghost played in Chicago."

As it stands now, Michael Jordan still remains as the Greatest of All Time (G.O.A.T) when regarding basketball, seated comfortably upon his golden throne. LeBron on the other hand needs to win three more championships to catch up to Jordan's six.

The alpha dog of the Cavaliers, has made a serious argument for rights to contention for the throne. Not only has he brought his team to victory, he has also done it in such a way Jordan did not achieved.

He created some astonishing numbers, leading in rebounds, points, assists, steals, blocks, and points against all others in the Finals. With his help the Golden State Warriors, defending champions and owning the best regular season record in NBA history, were dethroned after he climbed a 1 to 3 hole.
Close Friend Dwyane Wade's Two-cents

To LeBron James, there is no doubt that he has the ability to surpass the famous Chicago Bulls' superstar. He may not, however, have the backing of his "brother" and close pal Dwayne Wade in this. As reported by Yahoo Sports, Dwayne told ESPN that it was not possible. While his answer isn't exactly what one wants to hear from their best friend, it as honest as it gets. Even so, fans are unsure as to how James will take Wade's pronouncement. One thing's certain, the two have some talking ahead.
