Without the presence of the shooting guard J.R Smith, the Cleveland Cavaliers easily defeated Orlando Magic during their preseason game. As a reigning champs, the Cavaliers had a successful start to defend their title as part of their preparations. The coach gave limited time for Lebron James to play, let Kyrie Irving rest and Klay Thompson with an injury.

This coming October 25, 2016, the Cleveland Cavaliers will begin to establish a defense for their title. That night, being the host of the regular season's opening, they will raise their championship banner and receive their championship rings as well.

With that preseason they had, the king of the Cleveland Cavaliers was pretty calm. The full list of their roster would be complete once Smith who is still have to sign with a new deal is affirmed, but that remains unsettled for now.
