'Outlander' Season 3 Spoilers: Sam Heughan Looks Scary In a Scene, Black Jack Will Not Survive Battle?
"Outlander" Season 3 will pick up where it left off in the previous season and will have many interesting scenes for its viewers. This season is based on the third book of the Outlander series written by Diana Gabaldon.
The premiere episode will be in the setting when Jamie (Sam Heughan) joined the Battle of Culloden, Hall of Fame Mag reported.
Gabaldon teased a scary scene involving Jamie and Prince Charles played by Andrew Gower wherein the prince is occupied "gassing away" as he expects to gain victory in the battle. While the prince is admiring his silver cup, Jamie doesn't react and continues undressing to prepare for the battle.
It is apparent that he is losing his mind while doing it. He is aware that the Highlanders are expected to lose the Battle of Culloden which Claire (Caitriona Balfe) revealed to him. Because of that, Jamie is mentally preparing to die while fighting.
According to Gabaldon, Jamie looked "freaking scary" in the scene which she hopes doesn't get edited out.
Jamie will also have a face-off battle with Black Jack. According to reports, Black Jack will not survive the battle in "Outlander" Season 3. Meanwhile, Jamie will be captured as a prisoner and will be locked behind the bars of the Ardsmuir Prison. During this event in his life, he will be able to build a friendship with John Grey, who will have a significant role in his life.
Meanwhile, scene pictures for the coming episode are teased by co-executive producer Matthew B. Roberts while they are scouting for the perfect location. It is said that this season will take fans in the Caribbean, International Business Times reported.
"Outlander" Season 3 is set to premiere sometime in 2017.
