'Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life' Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Season Revival More Emotional; What We Know So Far!

"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" is a revival from the original show which is coming to Netflix. The show picks up eight years after the original series ended.

In a report from Bustle, "Gilmore Girls: A year in the Life" officially is airing on Netflix. It starts eight years after the previous season concluded. In fact, Lauren Graham who plays the role of Lorelei Gilmore teases that this upcoming season will definitely make fans cry.

One of the events that "Gilmore Girls" Season 8 is going to explore will be the death of Edward Hermann. Hermann plays the Gilmore patriarch, Richard Gilmore. He passed away in 2014 and once the show kicks in it will depict right away the grief of the family about his death. His death will be honored in the season.

Meanwhile, Rory's (Alexis Bledel) exes are coming back to "Gilmore Girls" Season 8. One of these exes is speculated to break Rory's heart again. There are definitely more story to the coming back of these exes and they may bring more heartbreak to Rory.

For the upcoming "Gilmore Girls" revival, Luke (Scott Patterson) and Lorelei are not married yet. It seems that after all the challenges their relationship had gone through there still is trouble between them.

According to USA Today, as a celebration of the 16th anniversary of "Gilmore Girls" Episode 1, Netflix is turning coffee shops into Luke's Diner on Wednesday. These diners are going to be decorated of stuff from the show.

This celebration includes things from Luke's Diner such as Luke's apron, Luke's backward s caps or even Luke's coffee cups with quotes from the "Gilmore Girls." There may even be a cut-out of Luke Danes. There is free coffee for the first 200-250 customers. Free months of Netflix can also be won. "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" returns in Netflix on November 25, 2016.
