October’s Four Free Pokemons Available Now With These Codes

The latest free distribution of Pokémon creatures within North America will be the legendary Hoopa. Nintendo is rolling out four free legendary Pokémons all this month starting Oct. 1 to Oct. 24 for gamers playing selected versions as part of the company's celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Pokemon.

Hoopa was earlier available only from a special promotion courtesy McDonald's but this one is being distributed as a part of the Mystery Gift function. Gamers can get the creature using a special code which is 2016HOOPA.

In order to snag the creature, after starting the Pokémon ORAS or X and Y game, head to the Mystery Gift tab and select the Receive Gift tab, Get With Code and then punch in the code.

The Djinn-inspired Hoopa comes at Level 50 with a Smoke Ball. Other attacks it offers are - Nasty Plot, Hyperspace Hole, Astonish and Psychic. The Unbound form of the Hoopla is a powerful Pokémon to have.

Players can get the Hoopla between Oct. 3 and Oct 9.

Also available as a part of their free distribution, the Pokémon Company is also releasing Keldeo, Darkrai and Volcanion.

The players looking to get a Keldeo can head to Pokemon Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire and select Mystery Gift tab. Launch the game and speak to any Delivery Woman accessible. This should result in the player getting the Pokémon. Keldo is part of the water and fighting category, and a Level 100 Pokemon. It has four moves including Aqua Jet, Leer, Double Kick and Bubble Beam.

The company has also provided a code to get a Darkrai for those who missed the opportunity earlier this year when a Darkrai could be snagged by visting any local GameStop. The Darkrai is a Level 100 creature with Bad Dreams ability. Its four attacks are Dark Void, Ominous Wind, Nightmare and Feint Attack.

Players can use the code Darkrai20 in the game Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire or Pokémon X and Y, for receiving the creature as a Mystery Gift.

To download the last creature Volcanion, players will need to visit participating GameStops and get a scratch-card that will reveal a code that can be used to get the creature. Coming at Level 70, a Volcanion comes with four attacks Hydro Pump, Overheat, Explosion and finally Steam Eruption which is the creature's signature move.
