'The Originals' Season 4 Spoilers & Updates: Traitor Among The Mikaelsons Family; Possible Klaus & Marcel Team Up?

"The Originals" Season 4 is set to air its first episode early in 2017. There is no final release of the exact day. However, there has been a reports on what to expect in the return of the hit TV series.

"The Originals" Season 4 was originally set to air its first episode late in 2016. However, it did not appear in CW Network's line-up for this year. The network moved its airing early in 2017. Although it seems quite far, rumors and information about the upcoming season has been teased.

According to Inquisitr at least one of the Mikaelsons will betray another. There are also reports on what could happen to Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) and Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) on "The Originals" Season 4.

Joseph Morgan teased "The Originals" fans through his Instagram account, where he says there are bizarre alliances, truce between enemies and friends will transform into enemies. There will also be a lot of betrayal amongst them.

On the finale of "The Originals" Season 3, Klaus was pierced with the Tunde Blade causing him to experience an agonizing induced coma. Klaus was also locked in a secret tomb. Although because of Freya's (Riley Voelkel) spell, he is still alive, this means that his siblings are also alive. "The Originals" Season 4, will return and five years have already passed.

According to the same post, she said, "Rebekah, like her siblings, has gotten caught up into the unified family takedown and spent five years in an alternate reality and is now back once again with that same choice she always has: What is my life supposed to be outside this crazy family. Kol, interestingly enough, is asking himself those same questions. The two of them are going to bond in a way that we haven't gotten to see so much about what their future is in this family and how much of this crazy they're expected to live through."

As for the said "truce" between enemies and friends, an alliance between Klaus and Marcel may have been formed. Both have always been like family until Davina's (Danielle Campbell) death in "The Originals" Season 3. But there will be a very important issue to deal with a sadistic vampire is coming to New Orleans. TVGuide reports that although he is looking for Klaus, he could potentially cause dangerous to others, specifically Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood).

Although a possible team up between Klaus and Marcel is happening in "The Originals" Season 4, doesn't mean that all is well and forgiven. But, according to ChristianPost.com, during "The Originals" Season 3 finale there was a glimpse of emotion in Marcel's face as he looks over Klaus' body. It may be possible that he could change his mind in his tearing revenge against the Mikaelsons in "The Originals" Season 4.
