Warner Bros. has released the full trailer of JK Rowling's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The trailer was shown during the "The Ellen Show" earlier this week.

The movie is based on a 2001 book by Rowling Fantastic Beasts which is said to be Harry Potter's textbook and was first mentioned in first book of the Harry Potter series Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

The book and now the movie charts the adventures of the writer Newt Scamander in New York's secret community of witches and wizards around seventy years before Harry Potter reads Scamander's book in Hogwarts.

A young magizoologist , Scamander arrives in 1920s New York with a suitcase filled with dangerous animals and other magical creatures, and unleashes mayhem. The movie will take us into the thrilling and mysterious world of the American wizardry community and their conflicts with dangerous No-Maj (non-magic people or Muggles) which will come to a head with Scamander's entry. Cultural clashes, power struggles and a wizarding war and dilemmas  - the movie promises all this and more

"The debate seems to be over whether American wizards should expose themselves to "no-majes" (non-magic people), flying in the face of an extremist organisation called the New Salem Philanthropic Society," as a report in Verge says.

Rowling has written the screenplay for the movie - her first venture into movies. This is the first of a trilogy featuring Scamander.

Eddie Redmayne plays Newt Scamander, while Colin Farrell plays Percival Graves a wizard who is right-hand man of Seraphina Picquery the Magical Congress president, sent to capture Scamander. Katherine Waterston stars as Porpentina Goldstein who will help Scamander in his adventures.

The movie has been directed by David Yates, who had helmed the last four Harry Potter movies. Fantastic Beasts is all set for a worldwide release on Nov. 18.

Harry Potter fans have long been in wait to see his exciting magical world again. This latest trailer follows a teaser released earlier this year, and shows us more of Farrell. "We've lived in the shadows too long," says he in the trailer.
