Supergirl, The Flash, and Green Arrow Showcased In CW's New Sizzle Reel
We are a few days prior to October, and The CW had unloaded a new sizzle reel highlighting the latest seasons of their fall shows, including DC TV's Arrowverse.
The said reel showcases the return of The Flash, Green Arrow, and The Legends, as well as the much-awaited CW debut of Supergirl, whose second season will be aired on the aforementioned network following some budgetary issues with its sister network CBS.
In recollection, The CW's 2016-2017 timeslot will see all four Arrowverse shows lined up from Mondays to Thursdays, giving us almost a full week filled with DC's comic book properties.
It was also previously reported that all four shows will be figuring in a huge four-part crossover this December. Nothing much has been revealed yet regarding the crossover special, but rumors purport that it might be in inclination to "The Flash's" Flashpoint status quo.
Aside from the Arrowverse shows, the latest seasons for "Jane The Virgin," "Supernatural," and "The Vampire Diaries" were highlighted, albeit it is worthy of note that the network's upcoming "Archie" adaptation "Riverdale" hasn't been included in the mix.
On the other hand, The CW also released a new trailer for "Arrow" Season 5, showcasing Oliver Queen's new team.
"The Flash" Season 3, "Arrow" Season 5, "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2, and "Supergirl" Season 2 are set for an October 2016 premiere.
