With the rebranding of Google Nexus into Google Pixel, there had been comparisons between rivals HTC Desire 10 and Google Pixel XL. Apart from that, reports also reveal that HTC will be manufacturing the Pixel handsets.

HTC Desire 10 Pro and Lifestyle is recently unvieled while the Pixel XL smartphone is still rumored to be out sooner. The new HTC flagship's release was successful and many are wondering if the same will also happen to the Google Pixel phones.

Google Pixel XL vs HTC Desire 10

In terms of display, the HTC Desire 10 has a 5.5-inch display with a full HD screen having 1080 x 1920 pixels while the Google Pixel XL is said to come with a 5.5-inch QHD display with 2,560 x 1,440 pixels.

HTC Desire 10 runs with Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 chipset with 4 Gigabytes of RAM running on Android Marshmallow v 6.0 OS. Meanwhile, Google Pixel XL will be using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset with a 4 Gigabytes RAM and the new Android Nougat.

The camera of the new HTC phone features a 20MP primary camera and 13MP front camera while the Google Pixel XL has a 12MP rear camera and and 8MP front facing camera. It is also rumored that the Pixel phone will have a dual-camera at its rear.

A 64 Gigabytes of internal storage with 256 Gigabytes microSD card is available for the HTC phone. As for the Google unit, it has 128Gigabytes of internal storage with 1Terabytes of microSD card expansion.

The battery of HTC Desire 10 is 3000 mAh which could last for up to eight hours of internet use over Wi-Fi, 11 hours of HD video playback, or up to 53 hours of audio playback, Headlines and Global News reported. But Google did not reveal its battery specs yet as of this writing.
