Samsung is now ready to release 500,000 units of a new Note 7 version in the United States, following the recall the company made due to exploding battery problems. This allows Samsung to respond to half of the users who have already bought the newest Samsung mobile phone model. Statistics on the same reports states that the United States has over 1 million units of Note 7 to be recalled.

However, according to USA Today, The company's spokeswoman said majority of the users who have acquired the previous Samsung Note 7 model opted for another Galaxy smartphone.

Meanwhile, Yahoo disclosed the results taken from online survey development service company SurveyMonkey which said that there are about 35 percent of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 owners who want to get a refund while 26 percent of them wants to get the rival's latest model.

Only 18 percent (that's one in five Note 7 users) wants to stick with the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. This survey results alone tell us about the challenge that is currently being faced by the smartphone giant. Analysts predict that this is one of the biggest blow against Samsung as it will cost them $904 million of recall expenses.

Several Samsung loyalists also expressed their sadness over Samsung's latest setback . However, some happy and unmindful loyalists cheerfully asks for other freebies, other than the Note 7 replacement alone.  Meanwhile, some loyal customers want the smartphone giant to skip Note 7 and produce the next model instead.

According to branding expert David Rogers, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 recall is just a temporary bump for the smartphone giant since it has already proven years of quality products. Rogers also added that it won't be too long for the company to rise up again from the crisis, as long as they continue communicating with their loyal customers and the general public.
